Short Description:

In April 2004, a collaboration between the Cambodian NGO Women’s Media Centre and the BBC World Service Trust brought about a two year media campaign on HIV/AIDS issues, including the the innovative radio call-in show “Os Tos Mhong”.

Description:   Translated in English to “Cool!” the weekend morning show allows listeners to tune into a variety of topics, all the while encouraging debates on youth culture, relationships, music, gender equality and sexual health. There were “young people talking about the things that matter most to them, including love, relationships and of course, sex.” Along with the radio show, TV and radio spots were produced by this collaborative effort, including the hugely successful Detective Vijay drama.
