Summary:   Knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) studies evaluate impact using a series of cross-sectional population-based surveys.
The KAP studies generally include all states, provinces, or districts where project outputs are targeted (this is generally determined by the broadcast footprint of the Trust's broadcast partners).

Description:   The baseline study establishes the knowledge, attitudes and practices of the target audiences. Using this baseline data, programme indicators and messaging priorities are determined. The baseline study also provides a benchmark against which progress will be assessed throughout the project period.

The midline and endline studies measure progress on the project objectives of raising awareness and promoting behaviour change. The midline is a key study as it provides an opportunity to confirm outputs are successfully reaching target audiences, and to make any necessary revisions to outputs to maximise their effectiveness through to the end of the project.

When available, the Trust also purchases monitoring and reach data.
