AIDS Media Center Mission
The AIDS Media Center (AMC) is a targeted resource portal for media professionals covering the global issues of AIDS.

The mission of this partner-driven website and initiative is to enhance the creative energies of local and international media professionals and organizations to play significant and contributing roles in the fight against HIV. The site provides useful tools and resources for media organizations and professionals -- e.g., radio, print, television broadcast -- to deepen their knowledge of -- and, ultimately, the depth, quality and impact of their HIV coverage.

Partner Organizations

The site 's content is provided in an ongoing basis by a network of local and international institutional AIDS Media Center partners.

These partners – internationally recognized for their content expertise in media and HIV related training activities (e.g., Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs, PANOS, Kaiser Family Foundation, One World, Internews, national Associations of Journalists Against AIDS) and/or HIV topic areas (e.g., UNAIDS, WHO, World Bank, IAVI, IAEN), directly contribute content to the site.
